How to Book Tickets

You can book luxury bus tickets online, but you must visit a counter for ordinary bus tickets.

  • Mobile App: Download the PEPSU Online app from the Google Play Store for quick booking.
  • Select Your Seat: Choose your preferred seat from the layout and pay via UPI, card, or net banking.

Important Note for Ordinary Buses: You cannot book tickets online for standard ordinary or "red" buses. You must buy these tickets directly from the conductor inside the bus or at the bus stand counter.

PRTC Bus Pass Types

PRTC offers several bus pass options to help regular commuters save money on their daily travel expenses.

  • Student Concessional Pass: A quarterly pass for students in recognized institutes. Requires principal verification.
  • Monthly Traveler Pass: Equivalent to 30 single-side fares for unlimited monthly travel on a specific route.
  • Free Travel Categories: Blind persons (with one attendant), on-duty Police, and Jail Wardens.
  • Journalist Pass: Accredited press reporters can apply for state-issued passes.

Punjab Govt Schemes For Ladies Free Travel

The Punjab Government launched this landmark welfare scheme on April 1, 2021, to empower women across the state.

  • Eligibility: All female residents of Punjab can travel for free regardless of age.
  • Valid ID Proof: You must show a valid residence proof like an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
