About RSRTC
Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is a government-owned public bus service in Rajasthan, India. It was established on 1 October 1964 under the Road Transport Corporations Act, 1950. Headquartered in Jaipur, RSRTC serves every district and region across the state. It connects cities, towns, and rural villages with affordable, safe, and punctual public transport for all.
Today, RSRTC runs a fleet of over 4,500 buses across 52 depots and 2,200 plus routes. Every day, these buses cover more than 16 lakh kilometres and carry over 6 lakh passengers. Services include ordinary, express, deluxe, AC Gandhi Rath, sleeper, and premium Volvo options. RSRTC also serves neighbouring states like Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh, making it one of North India’s most trusted public transport networks.
Operational Evolution
